Whenever I have to educate the Simple Past tense in English, one activity That i use is speaking and writing practice using some short "stories" that I constructed. Writing them was much more difficult than I'd originally imagined since entry to only regular verbs in a narrative is not truly authentic language. Native speakers simply don't talk that way. But, to give my EFL English students some practice in writing the forms of regular verbs in past together with especially in pronouncing them, I came up with a few shorts using only the following form. They're harder you just read and pronounce than "normal", but the intensive practice is very much quite helpful. So, I continue to rely on them even though I know this speech pattern will not only occur in natural Native english speakers speech.

Since my learners are typically from a Spanish-speaking country in South america, Colombia, they typically exhibit an issue in pronouncing the -ed action-word ending in its several forms. Verbos en Ingles
